These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Merid Health website at meridhealth.com and meridhealth.com.au (the "Site"), operated by Merid Health Pty Ltd (ABN: [TO BE INSERTED]) ("Merid Health", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in Victoria, Australia.
By accessing the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
2. This is not a clinical service
Merid Health is currently in pre-launch. The Site is provided for general information purposes only. At this time:
- No clinical or medical services are being provided through the Site.
- No doctor-patient relationship is created by your use of the Site or submission of a waitlist entry.
- No information on the Site constitutes a diagnosis, clinical opinion, or treatment recommendation.
- Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to services, a consultation, or a prescription.
If you require medical attention, please contact your GP, call healthdirect on 1800 022 222, or in an emergency dial 000.
3. Joining the waitlist
By submitting your email address to join our waitlist, you agree that:
- You are at least 18 years of age and located in Australia.
- The information you provide is accurate and belongs to you.
- You consent to receiving launch-related communications from Merid Health by email, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Joining the waitlist creates no contractual obligation on either party and does not guarantee access to any service.
- We may remove you from the waitlist at any time, and you may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
4. General information only — no therapeutic claims
This Site provides general health information for educational purposes. In accordance with the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (Cth) and the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code:
- No therapeutic goods (including prescription medications) are advertised or recommended on this Site.
- References to "bulk-billed follow-up consultations" describe a potential benefit subject to individual Medicare eligibility and clinical assessment. They are not a guarantee of service or cost.
- Any health information on this Site is general in nature and does not take into account your individual health circumstances, needs, or objectives.
We make no representation that any information on this Site is appropriate or suitable for your individual circumstances.

All content on this Site — including text, design, graphics, logos, and code — is owned by or licensed to Merid Health Pty Ltd and is protected by Australian and international copyright law.

When you visit this Site, anonymous usage data is collected automatically via Cloudflare Web Analytics (provided by Cloudflare, Inc., USA). This includes page views, page performance, referring URL, browser/device type, and visitor country.
